Today it is two years since my dear partner Jan Pentland died by suicide. This is the LAST in what turns out to have been a 3-email series on “Life without Jan Pentland”: 3 months later, 9 months later, and now 2 years later. You are receiving it because you offered me condolences after Jan’s death — thanks again for that.
Why write one more email in this series? (a) Because a number of you have asked me to do so. (b) Because I believe that suicide, grieving, and “is there life after major loss?” are issues that we don’t talk about enough.
